I hope he kicks it off this mortal coil in as-painless a way possible, which likely means sooner than later. I'm not sure he'd be able to enjoy Christmas. He's bedridden and not always that coherent. He can't even read his own PMs anymore.

So, I guess I'm indifferent about the date - I just hope he gets there right fucked up on opiates. (They were being pretty good about giving him plenty of pain meds last I knew, but he's now not getting as much comfort from them.)

This is kinda woven together out of the past week and a half or so.

Put it this way, I'm probably the only one getting contacted online - and I've barely had any contact with him at all for a while. It's not even 'every few days' anymore.

In my selfishness, I kinda wish he'd made it through at least January. He enjoyed watching and experiencing me when I was busy buying stuff at the classic car auctions. There's a big one coming in January and I've got a giant wad of cash burning a hole in my pocket. I'd have liked to experience one more auction with 'em.

Speaking of him... Did you catch the archives up? I haven't looked. I've been remarkably busy during the day and I'm pretty zonked by nighttime. Hell, I'm already in bed - just on a laptop.
