I can be reasonably confident that she'd stick with me no matter what - and, in return, I'm pretty confident that I won't give her a reason to leave me.

I could be a right bastard and she'd stick with me. I'm sure of it. However, I won't give her any reason to doubt her choice.

No, but I could be - and I'd get away with it. I could be an abusive prick, for example, and she'd stick it out with me. I'm not sure that she'd tolerate it from anyone else, but she'd put up with it from me.

On the plus side, that's never going to be an issue. I'm just not that kinda guy. Plus, I am very much still in love and I don't see that ever changing.
