Yeah, I'd like to add more bikes to my collection. I also want some more race cars. Used race cars are actually not all that expensive, actually.

I've spoken quite a bit with COF's family in the recent past. That's a good thing. The nurse they've got there at the time of writing thinks he may have had a stroke. He's no longer really communicating anything, but he's still lingering.

I do what I can to offer comfort to the family in their time of need. My last message contained a bunch of Christmas music from years past.

I may go out and meet the family during some downtime next year. We'll see how it goes. I'd not want to go now. I don't want to see him like this, nor is there any reason for me to see him like this.

Thanks for the update. I just hope he is not suffering and in misery

I got a phone call from one of my friends last night. He told me he's been in the hospital for a week now with severe pain. Apparently he has 20 pounds of shit in his abdomen and he hasn't had a BM for two weeks and he says the pain is unbearable. He said he would rather be dead than to lay there another day. He says the pain is so bad that he has not even been able to sleep for a week and he just wants to die.

He called me cause he remembered I had diverticulitis ten years ago or so and he wanted to know how the hell I got them to do the surgery on me, cause he has been begging them to operate and get the feces out of him so that he can stop being in excruciating pain. And they won't do it. They keep telling him that it will come out the normal way.

His symptoms of pain and all that he described sounds just like the symptoms I had when I had the diverticulitis. Though he said they've done MRI's on his abdomen and I would assume that they could see if the bowels were perforated and the feces leaking out into his abdomen from his intestine. But who knows. I certainly don't. He says they won't give him any pain meds cause that will make his crap harden up and make it worse. They won't give him sleeping pills for the same reason.

So he's been just laying there in massive pain wishing for death. I hope COF is not in any kind of condition like that, I don't think so with him getting pain meds, but who knows. My friend actually asked me to bring him some crack as he said whenever he took a hit of that in the past it always made him have to shit LoL Like I am going to bring that up into the damned hospital!

No pun intended, but that's shitty.

And, we can only assume COF's not in any real pain. He's no longer really able to vocalize and advocate for himself.

I did stress to his family that they should keep an eye on the workers to make sure he's actually getting his pain medication as scheduled and prescribed. Those home health workers have been known to be right bastards.

That is good advice you gave his family, especially since he is unable to communicate.
