Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask COF, Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

There was this envelope I had found shortly after my dad passed away that was addressed to him and mailed by him, so I opened it up and it was the lyrics to a song he had written called 'old lady blues'. It was pretty funny and I been wanting to play it over some blues progression but I can not find the lyrics sheet. I know it's here somewhere, but where I have no clue

Back in the day, you'd do that to do a poor man's copyright. In 1978 the laws changed, but not everybody knew and so the practice kept going for a while. Today, copyright is assumed at the moment of recording - be it writing or audio.

And, yeah, tons of classical music is pretty awesome. I like a lot of neo-classical stuff as well.

I have drops in my ears now.

Yeah, that way he would have a post mark that proved he had that written by that date.

I have not come across any tapes of him doing that song yet though. Hopefully the lyrics turn up some day.

I have hair growing out of my ears these days. That didn't used to happen

I've so far escaped the hair growing out of my ears at any length, but the infection isn't quite dealt with and my hearing in that ear has yet to return to normal. It has improved. It has improved greatly. It's just not quite done. That infection was pretty goddamned in there. I've never had an 'outer ear infection' before, at least not that I know of.
