Those are the ones nearly everybody in China rides, right
And Japan. And India. And South America. And Africa. And a ton sell to Americans, though I don't see them here all that often.
100,000,000 fucking million of them have been sold.
That's a whole lotta fucking parts. Properly cared for, they'll last forever.
damned right
I probably should own a couple of them, simply for their historic prevalence and accomplishments.
I just finished sending my daily missive to COF. Sometimes the family will respond and I'll exchange a few more messages, but I always email him every day. I told him that I'd see it through to the end and, well, you know what happens when I say that I'm going to do something.
And, well, it kinda hurts a wee bit. 'Snot easy to write to a friend that you'd even call a dear friend when you know they're on their way out and barely maintain any cognitive ability. Writing every day, even multiple times a day, ain't easy. It's definitely not easy to think of things to say - especially as they're being read to him by family.
When he's passed, I'll (almost certainly) share a track and a story. Long ago, back when Biff was still pretty shitty on the guitar, she put a couple of months into learning a song for him. The song is significant if you know the words. So, the recording was/is very near and dear to him. It has never been shared publicly before, even though it's a couple of years old.
Yeah, it was recorded way back in 2018. The song/lyrics/recording are all immensely special - and private. Once he's passed, I think it'll be okay to share it.
