Yeah, they'll benefit - but not as much as one might think. 69% of the ad revenue (so I'm told) goes to the site owner. I got stopped out on the interstate today. I stopped as soon as I saw the lights 'cause I knew damned well they were wanting my attention. They waited in front of me until a 2nd cruiser showed up and parked behind me and partially in the road to prevent me from taking off again. I had no plans on running, but they probably don't stop a Dodge Viper ACR very often and probably know I only stopped because I was being polite. I wasn't even going that fast when they nailed me. In fact, I was behind someone driving faster than me. I was going about 80 in a 65, so it's not like I was fucking around. I even had it in 5th gear. I can kinda cram it in 2nd gear at that speed and still have a little room before red line, but I could have dropped it in 3rd which will cover speeds into the low triple digits. By the time I'd have been shifting into 4th, the cop wouldn't even be in my rear view mirror! Anyhow, to make a long story short (or a short story long), they let me go without even a written warning. They told me to slow down. The whole time, fuckers were driving by at 80+ mph! But, that ACR *really* stands out in a crowd. If the cop is gonna stop anyone, it's gonna be the car with the 2" of clearance, a giant wing, and sucking in enough air to sound like a jet.
