I've been limited to night-time loving only 'cause we've had my granddaughter for a few days. She goes home on Monday.

We have her fairly often, but I figure everyone's tired of me gushing 'bout having a grandchild so I don't bother mentioning it in the public areas of the site. Used to share a bit with COF, but he was curious about anything going on in my life.

That's super awesome that you get to spend time with her. I can imagine that your daughter appreciates having the break as well.

She won't sit down and shut up.

She's pretty smart, too. She's already sounding out simple words. I have her doing some basic arithmetic with things like food. "You had four fries and you ate two, count how many are remaining."

I'm one of those folks that doesn't speak baby talk and I use pretty much every interaction to have fun and be informative. That's how everyone treats her, so she has it consistently.
