You know...
I'm kinda looking forward to "learning to play guitar on a budget".
When I was learning the fundamentals, there was just myself and my instructor. If they didn't know, I didn't know. While I don't like videos for formal instruction, they're great for some information gathering.
I get to see things like this:

By the way, how goes your archiving? You still feeling motivated to do it?
That was interesting. Did he win?
I have a looper in a multi effects pedal that I play with once in a while but I don't use it too much.
The archives are current through January. I should do February one of these days
He's the champion of that year, so I guess so. I have a handful of dedicated loopers, some pretty fancy.
I don't mind BOSS, but I'm really a Line 6 kinda guy for loopers.
Alas, I haven't spent that much time working with them. I can safely say, "That guy plays guitar WITH A LOOPER better than I play guitar with a looper."
But...
Gimme 3 months of dedicated practice and I'll show him how to play with a fuckin' looper.
Conceptually, I understand it very well. I just haven't bothered investing the time.
Yeah, it's not that hard. You can lay down a decent sounding backing track and melt their faces with a blistering lead over it pretty easily, I don't think it would take you a month
