Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

The pedals are actually made by NUX, a Chinese company that makes cheap guitar pedals. I've never owned their stuff. I've never even heard of them until today. I did look 'em up online and it leads me to here:

https://www.nuxefx.com/home.html

A very quick look says they don't sell straight to consumers.

And, I have guitars with personality - meaning you need to know them to play them well. Most of my guitars you can just pick up and play, but I've owned some for so long that I've simply worn them out and no amount of work will make them perfect again.

Well, any work that'd result in that would be better spent just buying a new guitar - as it'd be pretty much a new guitar. I have guitars not too far away from Nelson's guitar Trigger. (Nothing quite that bad, however.)

I've never heard of NUX before.

I do have a couple of old acoustic guitars that are unplayable and just sit in the corner as a decoration

It does reach a point where repairing them is just plain retarded, unless you have sentimental reasons.

Trigger, for example, is to be kept going for as long as possible. Nelson says he'll quit playing when Trigger can no longer be played.

I am assuming you know who Trigger is. Even non-guitar players know who Trigger is.

Yeah, I know what trigger is. I even watched a video a year or two ago where a real luthier was preparing it for the next tour
