Pretty much. My girlfriend at the time got a ticket and a lecture from the police the next day about leaving the scene of an accident. They bitched at her about having to search the ditch for hours all night looking for the driver. That blizzard dumped about a foot of snow so there were none of my footprints to be found and they assumed the driver was thrown from the vehicle. All the windows except the windshield were blown out. She got a $500 ticket for leaving the scene that I paid. Plus her insurance deductible. I figured that was worth me not having to even be known as the driver and all the questions associated with that. The cops figured she was drunk when she did it and took off LoL

Hmm... She might have been able to get out of the ticket.

I suppose it's quite a few years too late for that to help!

She did tell them that she was the driver, so I don't think they would let her out of it after that. They were trying to figure out a way to charge her with an OWI. They were convinced that she was drunk when it happened, but they could not prove it. LoL

You almost swept the top five!

It's too bad they count cities and not per capita with smaller towns. I'm told a town near my house has more Budweiser delivered than any other town per capita. I'm curious about how true that is.
