There is absolutely no way at all to advance or retard the timing. Thats fucked up. But I guess the computer does it
Yeah, the ECU adjusts it on the fly - but not if it's too far out. I've just never heard of needing a special tool to do all this.
I could just be out of touch. I haven't done timing in anything all that modern.
What in the fuck are you supposed to do with that!!
I like the looks of this one for some reason. It's interesting looking
I have no idea how one plays a 17 string guitar, but I'd be willing to play with it for a month to see if I can figure it out. It might be sturdy enough to let you reach below it and hold your full hand over the frets.
If anyone can figure it out, I'm one of those who probably could make it work.
The one you like reminds me of a 50s/early 60s Rickenbacker, though the exact model name escapes me.
And those specialty tools are not something I'm familiar with. Looking at them, I can kinda figure out what they're there for, but they're foreign to me. I strongly suspect my mechanics know how they work - and they probably have that tool in the shop. Or they'll have it if I have a timing issue in some of the more modern cars.
I, on the other hand, have never seen it before.
See? I don't know everything. I'm even willing to admit it when I don't know something!
