I suspect it technically keeps it warmer in the winter and not ten degrees cooler - but I don't live there. I just know it's a REALLY big fucking lake and will never get colder than about 32° F.

But, any warming due to the lake may be outweighed by the windchill.

In the winter it does keep that area warmer than inland. They get a lot more snow too. The water never freezes in that lake. In the bay it does and you can go ice fishing. That again, is due to it being so shallow.

Yeah, that big ol' chunk of water is gonna impact the local environment - even geologically. That's seriously a shitton of water.

I have no drinking partner, really. Biff might have a glass of wine or two, but that's likely to be all she drinks.
