Well I have taken the valve covers off and found a broken upper timing chain and since it is an interference engine I think that means pistons slammed some valves. So I figure that some valves are bad. I dont know how to know unless I put on a new timing chain

Yeah, that's fucked. There's definitely valve damage. There's possibly piston damage. The head is likely damaged from eating some metal.
If your pistons are clean enough, you can probably save it with the new head. It's gonna be hours worth of work.

Yeah... Yeah, you're gonna have to. It might not be worth saving.
Also, it sat... It sat all winter without so much as rotating. Your gas is bad, by the way. Well, probably not too bad - unless you use (and you probably do) MTBE or E-85 or something. Fuel lines are likely gummed up, along with your fuel filter.
