Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link. That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

I used it for years. It has thousands of hours on it, surely. The cab will have fewer hours, as there was no point in using it in the house for practice. I'd sometimes gig with just the head combo. That was plenty loud for even moderately sized venues - but you're also expected to look the part. Showing up at a gig with just a tiny combo amp can look bad, but once folks heard it they understood. It's seriously loud and actually sounds good when it's cranked up.

People listen with their eyes. If they see an amp the to their eyes looks shitty they with think it sounds shitty

Yup. It's a small amp, so it can't sound loud. I'd sometimes bring the cab but not actually plug it in. I'd just have it up on the stage near the back where it could be seen.

Really a 2x12 should be plenty of amp for most situations
