Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, click this link. That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then you can donate.

I didn't actually look. LOL I went through my "paperwork" (disorganized text files) and got the link for you.

I just got off the phone with my lawyer. It seems the insurance company is now speaking my language and they want to settle with more favorable terms. Alternatively, I can take them to court if I don't like their terms.

You knew they would come around eventually. It is helpful that you weren't desperate for money like most people in the situation would likely be

Yup... I don't actually need their money for anything. But, my injury has stopped me from doing all sorts of things that I enjoy. Hell, I can barely get in and out of my tractor - I have to be extra careful. I can't even jump down off the tailgate of my truck - I have to sit down and slide off carefully. I can't really ski or snowshoe, and even a snowmobile is rough and painful. I can't even run all that far - though I can kinda jog for quite a distance. Well, I could run or jog longer, it just hurts.

I'm not sure if I should discuss the terms. I don't think it matters.

Their current offer is 2.5 - minus medical expenses and legal fees of which I have none. They'll then continue to cover my medical expenses that pertain to my injuries. So, I'll make about 1.5 on the deal and they'll keep covering additional medical expenses.

That's not really what I wanted, but it's close enough. I don't want to pay any medical expenses, I want the 2.5 in cash on top of medical.

So, they're getting closer to what I want.

Do you have medical expenses? Or did his insurance cover those already?
