Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I must have something to do with the cost of shipping going up with the rise in fuel costs

The hosed counters I fucked with were just set up by the county and they had two of them in each direction from an intersection they were counting traffic at so my circles would include both of the hoses.

The counters were just mechanical counting devices, so there was no way they could tell what time the numbers came in, I guess depending on how often they gathered the data, but I imagine it was only weekly or maybe less. Even daily tallies would not reveal my thousand laps at 3AM

In their case, they're idiots. You don't just do one intersection, you do an entire area. If you do an entire area and everyone has x-number of cars but one has x-number + 500 you just remove the 500 extra and normalize the data.

If they're doing just one intersection, that's fucking retarded and a waste of tax-payer dollars.

You need the big picture and then the ability to narrow and focus the data. Without the big picture, the small picture is pretty meaningless.

They did put up the traffic lights after the counts so it worked

Holy fuck...

I just did a client's WordPress install in like 30 minutes. It's a 3 to 6 hour job just to get started for my sites, but their site is much easier. I was also able to use a bunch of config files from my other sites - saving me a ton of time.

LOL They should have examined the full system. We dealt with many penny-pinching municipalities over the years. We declined to work with some of them, simply because we couldn't do adequate quality work with the budget they wanted. (I call that "integrity".)
