That it is... From cars where I'd affix a fraudulent inspection sticker and hope to not get caught, to a McLaren P1 with dealer plates.
That is quite the upgrade!
Damned right! I musta made some good choices in between the bad ones, 'cause here I am.
If you'd asked what my sixties would be like while I was in my forties, I'd have said that I'd be comfortable, assuming I wasn't dead.
If you'd asked me when I was in my 20s, I'd have expected to be dead - or really still poor and never able to retire.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be here. Largely 'cause I didn't waste money on the lottery and that was the only path I could envision for true wealth. I didn't think my company would be that valuable. We made a tidy profit and all employees were taken care of, but I never dreamed I'd sell it as soon as I did and definitely didn't think I'd sell it for what I did.
Ah well... Such is life. Sometimes you come out on top, sometimes you come out on the bottom. I was on the bottom long enough to appreciate being at the top.
Maybe I should go buy a lottery ticket!
I don't ever do that!
