LOL Thanks. It looks like I'm looking at ping times of 500 to 600 ms. That's not too terrible. I mean, it's not 27 ms, but it's not that bad. One second is (of course) 1000 ms. If it's bi-directional, we're looking at a latency of 1.6 seconds.
If I was a gamer, that'd mean my character died (in a real time game, of course). If I was playing a MUD, it wouldn't even matter at all!

I don't expect to. The state of online racing is absurd. I've watched a bunch and it's just morons that crash and press the magic restore buttons.
If I raced, it'd be in a real sim against intelligent (computer) opponents. I'm not dealing with the frustration of raving online. Even at the highest levels, it's packed with idiots. There will be some good gamers in the mix, but it's mostly idiots.
I guess I don't know, I never done the online racing thing. It's full of idiots huh? LoL thats funny
