I just got home and I still have to wrestle with the upload. I'll circle back in a bit.

Evening Folks hope all is well in your corner of the world.
Things are going as well as can be hoped for on my end. You?
(I'm listening to your track right now.)
I'm good bangin nails on my house, not one of my favorite things to do, but it is a must do project.
I'm grateful that my house is new enough to not need much work.
Then again, I'm too old to go around fixing my house. 'Snot like I can even climb a ladder anymore.
https://youtu.be/ilskdvuhtzE A little diddy I recorded on my phone titled Because You Needed Me
Real pretty song. I misread it at first as You Needed Me. I thought it was the Anne Murray song which is a nice song too.
Thank you hit-n-run I appreciate the kind words
Beautiful song, Carl. It could be a Neil Young tune, a la Harvest Moon. I wish I could write pretty music.
I really like what you write, someone once told me to write what you know, it has served me well thus far. Thanks so much for the kind words.
What a beautiful song!
Thank you Crazy hope all is well with you
I like it. I wrote some lyrics for a country song, but it didn't get very far.
I wrote that song a while back but never had a decent recording. As it turns out, after listening with head phones I don't have a decent recording. The fish tank and my dog Beek will have to be in the credits as participants.
Meh... I don't think anyone's gonna put that recording on an album, but it was just fine for sharing here.
My Internet is really, really slow tonight. It's also hotter than Hades.
Hi guys, and Happy Friday the 13th! I avoided two wrecks today by the skin of my teeth, so it's all good.
Here's a thing I did.
Avoiding wrecks is always a good thing.
And your song has a familiar sound to it, but I can't place it. It reminds me of a bit of a jam band, but I can't be sure from which era.
Slammin' the brakes, 80 mph down to zero on the interstate in the rain. Like a shot of meth.
Yup. That'll wake you up.
See I would have trouble writing like this and you pull it off brilliantly. Very well done !
Thanks Carl.
Hello and welcome to another FNGT. Like normal, we'll get you started. Lest you think we've completely given up, we have a new track this week!
This is a fun song to play around with. We perform it live, often mixing it up a little - such as having one of the ladies do the vocals. I'm pretty sure you've heard me sing this one before, but I didn't root through the archives to find it.
I wish I was special. Oh, wait... I am!
Rock on, Poalr Bears! Rock on!
My wife says I'm special too ... funny though she always giggles when she says it. Nice guitar work.
LOL Thanks. I like the song quite a bit. It's got some interesting lyrics and atmosphere.
That's such a good groove. The bass is really cool. I had never noticed it before.
One of the reasons I enjoy doing covers like this, that is sans vocals, is you really get to hear the music. As a musician, that's fun for me. That and I love the act of recreating the original as faithfully as one can.
Anyhow, glad ya liked it.
Great job! You got that killer Jonny Greenwood tone perfect.
I really liked Radiohead's first three albums, but their later stuff just makes me feel sad and lonely.
As mentioned elsewhere, it's any old trem, any old chorus, and any old compression pedal. What really matters is using the Shredmaster.
Sure, you can get the tone pretty close with any distortion pedal, but it's much easier with the real thing.
I'll have to track down the schematic and build one.
That sounds fucking identical!
Well, that is pretty much the goal.
You nailed it! Awesome!
I got nothing new this week so I will share with you all a song I wrote about a friend,
Story of my life, pointless choice`s and bad decisions.Nice job on this one Crazy
Rockin! This reminds me of my teenage weekends on the backroads of Arkansas.
Good choice!
Hell yeah!
Speaking of which, I think he's soon to be eligible to ask for a full license reinstatement.
