I wrote that song a while back but never had a decent recording. As it turns out,after listening with head phones I don't have a decent recording. The fish tank and my dog Beek will have to be in the credits as participants.

Meh... I don't think anyone's gonna put that recording on an album, but it was just fine for sharing here.

My Internet is really, really slow tonight. It's also hotter than Hades.

I just wanted to see how well my new phone recorded. It's actually not bad for video and I'll run the audio through my DAW edit, mix and master it next time.

It's definitely not bad for a cell phone recording. Not at all...

A buddy of mine uses a microphone that goes into the phone's charging port, and he gets pretty solid results. I forget the brand name but I'm pretty sure he paid under $40 for it.

Yeah... Imagine that! A microphone with decent quality for just $40.

Hmm... I usually mic my amp up and record from that. I wonder what'd happen if I tried to use my phone anchored in the same position as like my Shure condenser mics that cost way more than $40. I should try this.
