Sweet. She looks to be very clean
She's immaculate. Pretty much anyone would think it's real, but it's not. A real one would be up over 150k on a good day. This would be in the 110k region on a good day. Unless you know how to interpret the VIN as an expert, you'd never know the difference.
Who the hell cares about that kind of thing? Its got the right motor and the right parts and i bet it hauls some ass
All sorts of people care about that kind of thing. Even I care about that sort of thing.
On the other hand, I paid 46k for the thing plus fees. For that price, I care a whole lot less. I get the experience of driving the real thing without the expense of buying the real thing. It's not just effectively the same thing - it's effectively the same thing when purchased brand new.
And, so far, it's pretty awesome - if you want to go really fast in a straight line.
It handles about as good as you'd expect - which is not good. But, it's controlled/predictable. So, if you want to throw it sideways you can do so - but throwing it sideways isn't gonna make you go much faster in the corners - if at all.
Chris is here so Im a going to jam for a while
Huh...
Google likes you today. As near as I can tell, there were two clicks. You made them. They are valued at $6.35 total.
As my site climbs the ranks, clicks must get more valuable.
And, if I could get 1000 people to do that a day, I'd probably quit. That's just too much pressure - too much of an audience - too many eyes on me with high expectations.
There are quite a few Google AdSense Millionaires.
I suppose I could be one, but that'd take a lot of work. It'd mean people expect things of me.
I should probably start thinking about merchandising the site. Linux-Tips coffee cups, stickers, magnets, etc...
Enjoy!
As for this specific car, I'm okay with selling it after I've had my fun with it. It's nothing all that exciting. It's special to someone, but I have plenty of muscle cars that actually have matching numbers. I'll probably put it up for 90k and take 80k for it. That seems fair and like a tidy profit. I could also send it to auction and expect more than that. It's a very well done tribute.
