Oh, it's nice and cool today. It's like 60 outside.
My house has like 1.5x the amount of insulation a standard house would have - plus there's a wall of insulating air around much of it.
So, yeah... It's still in the fucking 80s upstairs.
You can't just open the windows and let the heat out?
You'd think so, but no... Well, not without a bunch of work. I'd have to open the outer windows.
I could do that and leave the internal doors closed while opening the outer doors and it'd suck the heat out overnight. It's just a bunch of work.
I'm just gonna get fucking A/C. I'll call on Monday and see what an expert says.
I was wondering about the opening of windows situation in an envelope house like you have. You have windows on the interior walls and then a little tunnel like 2 or 3 feet to the exterior wall with another window, is that right?
