Did you ever receive that AMG ONE?

Nope. They're now saying closer to the end of 2022 and scuttlebutt says not until at least October. A few were delivered and sent back due to quality control issues.

They've now taken so long that I'm pretty sure they violated the delivery contract and I can get all of my deposit back.

But, no sane person is going to give up their slot. The car's already worth more than I'm paying for it. If anything, someone would sell their build slot - and make a tidy profit I'm sure.

I am not a sane person. Well, I am, but I'm not controlled by market forces.

It's still like 90° here. which fucking sucks.

But, more interesting, I could hear some noise and then a chopper. My neighbor is having a heart attack, or had one. They must still be alive, 'cause a chopper picked them up.

Yeah, it does. I'd have loved to have it for the summer months. Hell, I'd have taken it for at least one track day - probably a whole weekend type of affair.

It is, on paper, a very exciting car. It's pretty much an F1 car, but it's not open wheel.

I'm pretty disappointed with AMG and Mercedes. But, I'll continue waiting - probably. I may just say fuck it and drop my build slot so that AMG knows they pissed me off. If I sell the slot, they'd still have the sale and probably not even notice.
