Keeping in mind we're going with fav not best James Hetfield. Talented rhythm guitarist that has really led Metallica in developing their sound, and respect that he"s been willing to take that roll raather than lead guitar on most tracks despite being lead writer on most of their biggest hits. Of course he's not the best guitarist in the bad, so smart, but again fav not best.
