The closest one is like 40 minutes away, which is just kinda silly, 'cause it's much closer than that sounds like. It's just that the roads to get there are weird. It's actually quite close.

If I drive an hour north I can be in a different state where it is completely legal!

No, not quite to Canada, it would the the upper peninsula of Michigan and hour north
