They played DVDs on the pod TVs a couple times a week during certain hours. Like the soap opera hours

That sounds better than watching soap operas. So, there's that...

We took an Isetta to the parade. It was fun, but deadly. If you get hit in an Isetta you're gonna die.

Were people expecting a slew of clowns to come out of that thing?

I don't think so. I think most of 'em weren't sure what to expect. I have a pair of 'em, but this was the first time I took one into the village for a parade. It's the first time I've driven it, really. It's just an inline 3 speed but the driving position is weird.

It tops out at like 45 mph, but you don't want to go that fast in one. It feels like you're going 100 and like you're going to drive off into the bushes at any moment. So, you should probably leave for your destination nice and early. It's fine once you're down to inner-city driving speeds.

The door is attached to the steering wheel, which is actually pretty handy. It's how you pull the door close enough to get to the handle. There's not a lot of room for a second person, so make sure they're not very big and don't smell bad.
