So, some stranger came into your driveway to steal your plate(s) and nobody noticed?

Either way, this is all for nothing. You're gonna have to replace it and you're gonna have to report it. If you do not report it, you're gonna get fucked in the ass for committing a crime you didn't commit - or some shit like that. It's not like it's a car where people can tell the difference. One bike looks like any other bike to them. So, when they report the crime with a bike involving your license plate, it's gonna be really hard to defend against that.

So, I strongly urge you to suck it up and report it to the cops using the non-hotline phone number. (Don't call 911 for it.)

Might as well sit on the porch and wait. No sense in letting 'em come to the door and them claiming they smell weed as an excuse to come in and look around.

Me? I'd have called my lawyer and probably made 'em come with me while I filed my report. Either way, just make sure you let the cop know that it's stolen and you don't want to be blamed if some jackass uses it to commit a crime.
