Meh... Just make sure she's in on it. Make sure she's angry that her dad offered the money and is in on your idea to take the money, wait a bit, and have her seek you back out again. Then again, he probably expected you to stay broken up with her...

Otherwise, with 250k you can easily get enough drugs, alcohol, and women to make up for it.

I've turned down/given up on some shit for love - but not 250k.

Spent properly, that can be 'life changing' money to many people. It's not 'fuck you' money. It's definitely not 'retire now' money. But, you can clear up debt, get a reliable vehicle, pay for a kid's college, etc...

Spent otherwise, it's one hell of a raging party. You can probably party for a full year with 250k.

I was jaded pretty quickly with that whole 'love' thing. I realized I was mistaking "lust" for "love".

I suspect I'd have taken the money. I don't know. I haven't been in that situation.

Turned out that she was bat shit crazy. Her dad had been raping her for many years starting when her mother died when she was 5. And then i find out her brother had been fucking the step mother all along and the sister was always all jealous that nobody was fucking her and the whole fucking family was all messed up in the head. One day a black dude showed up and said that he was the son of the maid and her father and her brother and all his friends went chasing him and he has never been seen nor heard again. Insanity. Total insanity taking place in that family
