As it should!
My M6 lacks any of that - perhaps to save weight, perhaps 'cause it was the 80s, perhaps 'cause it wasn't ordered with it, or perhaps because it's not a 7 series and it was not an option on a 6 series.
Not one piece of wood in the entire interior.
It could have been ordered that way. As long as its a fine running machine that is in as great of shape as it appears you should be happy.
Wood in a car is not that important really
Wood in a car is kinda important. Everything you are going to touch should be made of good materials and not the cheapest plastic they could source from China. Save that cheap plastic for American cars, and budget cars meant for rental fleets.
Everything I touch should be nice to touch - including my gas cap.
Alas, not every car is full of things that are nice to touch - but they should be (with a few exceptions, and even then they can do better).
American car companies had mostly forgotten how to make a nice interior. A few cars models have it figured out again.
American cars have not included anything but plastic for a long time
