Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask Crazy, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

I went through nearly all of the wiring under the seat last night and it all seems fine, voltage is present when it should be everywhere I check. I just now pulled the fuel line that goes in the rear carb and cranked the engine, no fuel coming out the line. There should be fuel, so maybe it is a fuel issue now. My battery went dead from cranking it so I am letting it charge for now. Maybe the fuel pump went out on me, I don't fucking know

Ha! LOL It was sounding like a fuel issue.

I'm dealing with stupid people (online).

The Gibson SG is a Les Paul... They just took the name off when the contract ended - at Paul's request, so the story goes. It's the Gibson Les Paul Solid Guitar.

The SG is a Les Paul as a GTO is a Tempest

It bore the Les Paul name until 1963, sometimes into late 1963 depending on when Gibson got rid of their on-hand stock.

Hell, it still carries the Les Paul variants - Junior, Standard, Special, Custom...

So, the guitar in question - specifically a 1961 Special - is indeed a Les Paul. You could argue that it was no longer a Les Paul after they took his name off of them. But, this is an example from 61 - so there's no debate.
