I did not eat any more of those mushroom last night. My woman distracted me.
I can relate.
I went for a quick drive this morning, saying goodbye to the GT for a while, and have been trying to figure out what to do with all this music gear that I really don't need and really don't have space for in the right area.
I went through some cases and boxes and it's pretty good stuff. I came across some Norlin era Gibsons that brought back memories.
I did not know what Norlin era Gibsons were so I looked it up and just read an interesting article about it. The article I read was about the new electronics Gibson unveiled in the new models like the Marauder and the Corvus and the S-1. Do you have some of those examples or do you just have the more common Les Paus and Explorers or 335s from that era?
I should have some of those. I don't really know. I opened three Gibson cases. Two were LP models and one was an SG.
The Norlin era is often ignored and unappreciated. Rightfully so, I guess, at least in some cases... But, man, Gibson made some weird shit during that period.
