It's not up to them to believe you - it's up to them to provide evidence to support it.

Odds are REALLY low that you'll have fake shot up an area than it would really have happened. You'll be fine. Just tell 'em the truth and to show you some real fucking evidence other than some gibbering moron you purposefully misled to see if they're honest or not.

Hell I been accused of lots of things I have not done by the cops and they never even cared to ask my side of the story in the slightest bit

In this case, you're 100% safe - I'm fucking sure of it. If they don't like your first response, tell them again to find one single shard of physical evidence. They'll leave you alone. You just need to be assertive right off the rip - no fucking around and don't get arrested for something else at the same time. But, even if you do get arrested for something else, just keep repeating your request for a single shard of physical evidence.

You'll be fine. I'm 100% sure of it.

This isn't like some mystery, it's something that would provide a shell casing and/or a round, as well as drug dealers who will say they were jacked and that you did it. That ain't ever gonna happen, not even in the most snitchiest of places.

As long as they dont have a victim you would think they would drop it but in my experience they dont care about that, only prosecuting
