Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask theBuddha, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Yeah, you can't really put 'em on stands. Well, if the car were designed for it, you might be able to. I don't think most cares are designed for that?

I have a couple of cars that have air jacks - hook up compressed air and it pushes down feet that lift the car. While those cars weren't really designed for that, they'd probably hold up that way just fine.

I thought maybe that would save the suspension and tires without the weight of the car on them

It's a good theory, but no... No, you'd be supporting the weight of the car on two points even smaller than the contact patch at the tire level.

Some of my stuff is on the pads that I mentioned. That was from when I had a tiny collection. These days, every months go push the cars forward and backwards 5' - so that you're pushing it forward 5' and then backwards 10' (or 5' if you start by pushing backwards), So, it's 10' total that the car might be pushed.

'Snot hard and doesn't even require starting the car.
