Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask theBuddha, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Well, I suspect we're gonna find out exactly how strict they are.

Where I live, unless there's a warrant, probation can only show up at certain times. I think it's 07:00 to 21:00, but it might be 22:00? I don't really know, 'cause it's not like I'm on probation.

I probably should be on probation, given the number of times I violate the law, but I'm above the fucking law!

The probation officer here has to do a home visit once every four probation visits, but those are scheduled just like an office visit. My PO never came over for a surprise visit

Yeah, you've gotta see 'em at least once a week - to start. Then they decide how often they need to see you.

Then, home/work visits are kinda random unless you've given them a reason to come check on you.

You also need to check in if you've had any contact with a police officer - even if that contact didn't result in anything.

You also need to inform the police officer that you're on probation, should you have contact with one for any reason. Even if they're questioning you about something not involving you, you gotta tell 'em. Even if it's just a traffic stop and you're in the back of the car, you gotta tell 'em.

That's what it's like here - and in most of the areas where I know what's going on in that department.

'Cause of who I tend to hang around with, I often know people who are on probation. I never do anything very illegal if there's someone in the group that's on probation, because they could have law enforcement involved at any time - even with no reason. So, I'm definitely not doing something like bringing an ounce of coke to Opie's house.

Yeah that is the same way they do it around here, except for the random visits. At least that I know of. I was at a dealers house smoking some up when his PO and a couple cops came knocking on the door and he was like I'm not answering it, if they have a warrant they will kick the door in of they don't they will leave and just ignored them. I thought I was going to get in trouble. But they knocked for like half an hour and then just left and left a note on the door.
