Once again, it's time for the FNGT!

If you don't know how this works, . That link will take you to another site to give you some additional information and tell you about some of our off-site features. That's also the site where we will host the weekly guitar threads, should Poal go down.

NOTE: That site is by invitation only. If you want an invite, and you're a regular participant, then just ask theBuddha, or myself.

If you do know what's going on, you probably don't need to click that link - but you may want to, to make sure you know of the other features, such as the archive or a separate forum that's invite only.

Remember, we are guests here on Poal. Let's act like it. If you're interested in supporting Poal, then .

Pretty much... There's other insurance, like insuring the truck, but it all gets written off, meaning the income that paid for it wasn't taxed.

It's pretty stupid to be a professional musician without insurance, regardless of the venue. It's like driving a car without insurance - when you can't afford to cover the expenses if you end up causing a damage.

What would the band insurance need to cover that the venue would not cover?

Everything from your gear to say someone trips over your gear and gets hurt or if someone climbs on the stage at the same time you turn around and you whack her with the headstock causing a need for 30 stitches and reconstructive surgery...

The venue doesn't cover shit. Even if they said they did, I wouldn't fucking believe 'em. They have liability insurance probably, but it won't cover us 'cause we're not employees. Some of the good venues will carry event insurance, which is basically insurance for the act that plays there.

It goes up if you use pyrotechnics and shit like that.

Hopefully that kind of crazy shit is rare
