Hello and welcome to another FNGT! Like normal, I'm going to get you started.

We're actually working on our Christmas track already, but we didn't record anything new. As it was our anniversary not long ago, I figure I should share a track from our last anniversary.

I got 9 seconds worth of music. I believe the photo upload site that Poal uses almost internally can also handle mp3 files - but don't quote me on that. They'd strip out any identifying information as well, which is nice. I think they call it pic.co? You'd have to check with someone or just randomly poke buttons until you got it working.

From what I heard, it wasn't bad at all.

After recording something on your phone can you just upload that recording here on Poal?

Maybe send the phone recording to my email and then paste that link here to this thread?

Or would I have to upload it to an audio site on the net first?

Don't laugh, I'm just trying to do it as simple as possible or I won't do it.

You should be able to upload it directly at one of the sites like SoundCloud. I don't really know what's available out there with just a phone. I'd copy it to my computer, give it a bit of a trim with Audacity, and then upload the results. I use my own hosting, but there are countless free audio hosting sites (especially if you're not so close as to cause a copyright strike).

LOL Well, that won't do for most people - but some of us don't give a shit. I can certainly understand caring about that, however.

If you get time, it is probably easier to make a new account with a fake name. has like a hundred of 'em.

Depends on the file type your phone records. There are sites that can convert the file to mp3 or wave file that is playable for everyone easily. You can upload and share. Mp3 files on catbox.more, if you wanted anonymity

The last time Verle was here along with Chris we tried to play this song that Verle's mother had made a record of way back in the 60's. I dont know if she wrote the song or just sang it. Either way, we tried.

Hey, happy Friday. My buddy Chris came over the other day and we were trying to think of a song to play, when we couldn't think of anything, I said to him, lets write a song. So we wrote a song.

Huh... Stanley is not a real person, I presume...

Well, surely there's a murderer named Stanley out there somewhere. My ex wife, so a long time ago, had an Uncle Stanley. He lived with us for a while. I kinda miss him. Him and the dog... Though I'm pretty sure both of those are dead by now. Still, the dog was awesome.

Stanley is actually a real person. He was here when Chris came over. My woman texted and I told her he was here. The day before she wanted to bring some friend of hers over here who I cant stand so I told her I did not want her to bring her here. Anyways, I think that annoyed her cause she started texting me things like why would you have someone like him in your house? He is a murderer, and shit like that. I told Stanley what she was saying to me and laughed about it and he got all upset and said nobody ever better associate murder with my name. His ride showed up real soon after that and thats when Chris and I decided to write a song. That's when we had to think what it would be about, and to mock my woman and Stanley at the same time, we decided on Stanley the murderer. LoL But he has not murdered anyone.
