It's supposed to be here on the 16th of September, last I knew. I'll believe it when I see it. They did one roll out and then recalled the few they delivered - so I understand. I had mine in my driveway but refused delivery 'cause it had a giant scratch down the side of it.
So, I'll be going over it with a fine toothed comb, along with my mechanics, before accepting delivery.
At which point, it'll become the most expensive vehicle I've ever owned. I only paid 5% instead of 10% auction fees on the F40. So, this beats that by just a little.
I'll probably drive it a few hundred miles, wait a year, and sell it. Maybe... It depends on how much I like it. I've tried to not watch too many videos, so that I can make my own judgments.
Thats about a full year since you had received the scratched one. What is their problem?
This a Mercedes Benz. Not some fly by night company
I suspect they wanted me to be an early recipient, maybe hopeful that I'd let them use it to do social media events or the likes.
Instead, they sent me a shitty example with a giant scratch down the side.
They expected you to allow them to use your vehicle for promotions? Were they going to compensate you handsomely for that?
