The missus gets mad at me when I do stuff like this... She thinks I should see a physician.
Pure crazy talk...
This summer I had an ingrown hair on the back of my calf. It of course didn't get popped completely. It became a cyst, full of thick and bloody stuff that was red from the blood but thicker - almost like bloody fat.
How do I know? Well, I got tired of the annoyance when I bumped it and it was too deep to pop by squeezing. So, I did what any right-minded person would do. I got out a razor blade, sanitized it and the area around it with rubbing alcohol, and lanced it in a couple of places.
I then squeezed the junk out of it, even keeping the area sanitized and not making a mess. It was thick, viscous blood and a harder type of material that all came out. I suppose it was pretty disgusting to watch - but nobody watched me. It'll drain some more over the next few days.
Now that I'm done and bandaged up, it's a mild sting and I'm fine.
See? I really am a doctor!
Actually, I'm way too lazy/occupied to bother going to a doctor. I can take care of it myself, in less time than it takes to drive to the village!
LoL
Hell with doctors! Who needs 'em!
Well maybe except your daughter
Are you doing the show tonight?
Nah, I stayed home. It's like 48° outside and they're playing at a fair - which means out in the cold. LOL Fuck that. They can do this one on their own! It's supposed to reach 42°. I'm too old to go play in that, and it kills my femur these days.
I can open the thread if I must. If you can open it, that'd be even more awesome.
And, man, it's bandaged up now and I disposed of all the bloody stuff, but you shoulda seen the gunk that came out of me. Imagine a cyst, but not just the liquidy stuff - also some thick/clumpy stuff that, even after lancing, took considerable squeezing to get out of me. I was kinda impressed.
Also, no... No, I'm not going to the doctor for something so trivial. I suppose they'd have used Novocain. It really didn't hurt all that much. The squishing the junk out was the most discomfort.
I was planning on opening it, so, I got it.
That does sound kind of chilly to be playing outside. The fingers just won't move as fast as they do when it's 75 degrees
