As evidenced by tonight's event, we can do that.
I was a bit confused at first and thought we were going to miss, only to learn they were after the smaller object.
They did pass right by that first big rock!
They did! I was like, "WTF?" It looked like they were aiming just ahead of it, so that's what I thought they were trying - to intersect it on the angle we were at. Then, it started to go out of sight on the left and they said the object (forgot the name already) was dead ahead and that they were on target. It took me that long to learn that.
Also, fuck me...
The band's drummer is being courted by another band. They tour alongside some major-ish metal bands. He'd take a cut in pay (I guess) but be able to do his own thing with original music. I told 'em to do what he thinks is best but at least give the band a few months to replace him.
Meh... I doubt he'll go anywhere. They're set up quite nicely as it is. He gets paid more than anyone else in the band, so he's probably not going anywhere - but I can appreciate wanting to play your own music and not play the same 40 songs every weekend, sometimes twice in a weekend.
Does he have his own music and is the band going to play his songs? Or will he be playing their music?
Is doing the same 20 originals every night much different than doing those 40 cover songs?
I must have been paying more attention as I knew they were not aiming at the first rock there
