Is that an inexpensive bass from Amazon, like a Glarry?
I recently bought a Glarry 'Jazz' bass, lol, on a whim. The neck is made very wide, cuz they also use it on the 5 string model. It is wider than a Precision (more lol). I took it off, and belt-sanded it thinner. Now it is thinner than a Jazz neck. And...I play my other basses. Waste of money and time.
Yeah, you're not out a lot of money if the product sucks.
I don't own any of their models, but they do pique my interest.
Glarry is ok for $100 I bought one of there violins for my daughter. Not top shell but not as bad as The Rouge guitar I got when I was 13. That shit the frets cut my hand up.
Quality-wise it's OK, sounds ok. But the neck is LAUGHABLY wide. OK if u have shovel-hands, otherwise a joke. The body is very light, so, neck-dive.
Yep a Glarry, however, I have upgraded the P pickup to a hotter one from Guitar Fetish and added a 6 selection tone dial. That lets me pick from 5 tone capacitors or no tone at all. It's my cheap experimental guitar. That I won't care if I fuck it up. I have other basses however this one I keep in D Standard tuning. Which is what Ghost plays in so I used it for that song.
