I'll just go without until some fucker makes what I want. I'm half tempted to hire someone to do it, but then it might balloon into absurd rates and at the end of the day I wouldn't own the system - meaning they could just go off and do it for others. If I'm doing that, I want to own the work - meaning I paid them for their creation and now I own it. Then I can market the system to others (or, more accurately, sell the rights to market it to others). I'm not gonna do the marketing myself.
Apparently there is an untapped market just waiting for a player
I'd think so. I can't be the only one in this position. Plus, all the wannabe rich fuckers would want something like this, so they'd take out loans to get the system just to keep up with the neighbors in their McMansions.
Surely there's a market, but it's a limited (but lucrative) market.
Yeah, but you could mass produce it and easily make customizable. Run gates and locks, you could probably use existing openers and whatnot just need some kind of integrated controller
