No, that probably won't be for another hour or so. Assuming I don't drink enough to fall asleep before then.
I kinda like day drinking. I don't do it nearly often enough.
It is a nice thing to be all buzzed while the sun is shining
The sky is a weird, but lovely, orange. It's quite cloudy - but the sun is setting. So, everything is bathed in a soft amber sort of light.
I'm sure you've seen similar conditions, where it's quite cloudy but the setting sun is still vibrant and illuminating the clouds from behind. It's not like a single beam of sunlight, it's just a washed out amber look. At this time of the year, the sun's setting is starting to get pretty long.
We're approaching the shortest day of the year, in less than two months. The sun will crest at about 35° against the horizon, 'cause of the latitude I'm at. Days get short, under 9 hours of daylight.
I suppose it's time to start thinking about Virginia, but I may do so sporadically. I miss Maine's winter.
The days have gotten a lot shorter already. it gets dark by 6 o'clock when just a few months ago it was near 10 before it was dark
