Is it a Mercedes?

It is not. It is one from the Michael Fux collection, from which I've purchased some lovely red Mercedes examples. In the car's full name, there are two "m"s. The car was made by one of my favorite companies.

Was there a BMW M6 in that collection?

Yes, but not of this year. I have three (four if you count the GT3). Two are modern, one is the first example from like 1986.
