Good headphones aren't TOO bad right now. You can get a 'good' pair for a hundred bucks. I realize that might seem like a lot to some folks, but they're worth it. You just need to read reviews and you'll find something that works - and it'll be a lot less than studio quality monitors. Much, much less expensive.

maybe if i get some side work. christmas to close . i bought myself that bass and kona amp so that was my christmas now to get wife something

Ovation is a FANTASTIC guitar maker, albeit a little 'weird'. They're truly amazing, making acoustic-electric guitars as their mainstay. If you want an acoustic-electric, I'd recommend their brand immediately.

And, yeah, you gotta take care of the wife before you take care of you. But, you should be able to find some decent headphones for well under a hundred bucks. Hell, if you don't care about the name on them, you can probably find "really damned good" headphones for $50 or less.

i'd prefer some solid 3d headphones when i so ,that get fairly loud as im mostly deaf from loud all my life and like to play acouple of games. maybe good set with a usb ampiflier of some sorts to drive them jist maybe 2db.
