I was going to guess Ferrari when you said red but for some reason I didn't!

She is Verle's niece from being born out of the twin of the mother of Verles son. So she is not actually blood related to Verle, Just to his son. And she followed me around like a lost puppy. Talked my ear off too. Man she just doesn't stop talking. But she does not look anything at all like Verle. LoL

And yeah, I could not see anybody taking an actual 300SL and doing that to it. I do think it would be cool though just to build those cars that look like that right from scratch

I pretty much stole my 300SL. I paid less than 1.4 for it. They range in value up from 1.8 to 2.2, sometimes a bit more. Mine is immaculate and in a 99% restored class - meaning I might have a screw or two that faces the wrong direction.

I think if they did that to one, they'd be ostracized from the community. It's just a lovely, desirable car as it stands.

You would have a damned difficult time trying to find another one at that price!

I doubt I could find another at that price. Even unrestored heaps of shit are likely to fetch 7 figures.

That's not a joke. A rusted relic, perhaps even missing the drive train, is gonna fetch close to 7 figures.

There's no way I can replace it for what I have into it. Purchases like those are why I ended up with a higher net worth (on paper) after spending all that money.

I'm kinda excited for January, but I've got a pretty firm budget in mind.
