It's a bit long and I did try sing more so and focused a bit on tone. On my phone during playback the bass sounded miffed inside the rhythm don't know why but lead was fine. I'm going mess with recording a drum beat off you tube so match back ground then re record bass and rhythm then redo lead but here's today's variant
Nice growls! Nice vocals and subject matter.
Anybody remember how Linda Ronstadt would do that 'growl' thing, almost effortlessly?
Nicely done Friend
thank you much. im going focus on quality this week through production and seem what comes about next weekend
I'm looking forward to hearing what you come up with. I think I'm going to fire up my studio this week and record some new stuff that I've put on the back burner for a while now.
Cool, So how you did you get the different guitars in there?
my boss gt1 has dual looper on it the main looper then dubbing over. thern hit play and play lead on top. currently ill play bass hit play then dub a guitar rhythm on top then hit record and do a lead doodle lol. record with samson mic plugged into cell phone and use bandlab though i should use looper to play each part then record each track sep and use truck to adjust each track to lvl it out
Oh cool. I didnt think of the looper. I have a looper on a multi-effect pedal here that is fun to play with.
I didn't listen to everything, 'cause my sleep meds are fuckin' with me until I adjust to 'em.
I'd have liked to have heard just the lead guitar to be able to tell it apart more easily.
the program im using isnt difficult im just to lazy today to record each part seperate lol but i rea;ly cranked amp today im hopes of a clearer tone when in reality it added way to much bass and mid with bass completely off but its ok. i guess since im off work for weeks i might as well spend the time to record each segment and maybe record process carry to truck and test in there for quality since i have a rocking stereo there with money invested
We tend to do the drum part first and then play according to that, using that as our cue for timing. We'll often lay guitar tracks down together and someone'll add any bass that needs adding. If it's more complex, we'll lay down individual tracks to fill in around the edges.
As for fingers, mine are fairly skinny and tend to do what I tell them to do. I've got really adept wrist muscles as well. I do use a hand/wrist exerciser thing with different tensions, though it's just on high. I've got a grip like a vise. It's from decades of working at it and decades of practice.
But, the fingers do what I ask of them. They're well-trained and I can cover anything I want. I can't find anything that I can't cover, which is good. Then again, if I wasn't pretty adept by this time, I should probably stop playing and do something else with my life.
