Up north is like that, people take snowmobiles everywhere. Thing is, there are cops on snowmobiles there too
Yeah, we have snowmobile game wardens. The cops don't bother with it. It's a small community. They know where you live.
In the middle of a blizzard, I've driven a snowmobile all the way to downtown Farmington. There were several inches of snow on the ground and I came across a cop...
So, I did what any jackass would do (they won't recognize my sled or be able to get the registration numbers off it at night)...
I drove up beside 'em, at like 35 mph, and knocked on their driver's side window.
They threw the blues on so I slowed down. They slowed down. So, I picked up speed. They spun around and almost spun out but got their speed back up.
They pulled up beside me, so I knocked on their window again.
This went on for a couple of instances. Finally, I knocked one more time and gave them the finger - before tearing off back towards home.
Amusingly, they had someone 'of interest' in Farmington. I have no idea who they thought I was, but it wasn't me.
LoL
I wonder if they talked to the guy they thought it was!
If they thought strongly enough it was him, his denials probably appeared to be that of the guilty. Around here they would have probably arrested him anyways
LoL
I have no idea but I do know they never made an arrest. If they'd arrested someone, I'd have gone down and admitted to the crime.
I'm not gonna let someone else take my bid for me. It'd be a fine 'cause they couldn't prove anything else. So, I'd have gone down and fessed up. It was in the local paper and the rumor mill was pretty funny. As near as I can tell, nobody ever expected me.
I'm watching some crazy fucker who's walking across the Andes. As in, he started on one coast and he's walking all the way to the other coast. From the Pacific, to the Atlantic....
However, he's been awfully 'lucky' in running into people when he needs something like food or water.
It's really fucking hard - but he knows exactly where he's going when it comes to finding people, water, and food.
I admit it's hard. I couldn't do it. But this TV fakery is just bullshit. Just be honest. "His next stop will be a small community in an oasis. He has barely any water left to get there."
I couldn't fucking do it.
