always thought it be so time consuming and with my very short attention span i felt id never complete one lol

Yeah, it is time consuming to really polish a complicated recording. The end results are worth it.

One thing I will tell you with 100% certainty... Regularly participating in this thread WILL improve your playing and (possibly) recording skills.

Just for the sake of the thread, you will get better. I figure it's because it makes us practice and it gives us a deadline of sorts. With that, you get metered progress along the way. I'm unable to think of anyone who has regularly participated that didn't get better.
