LOL Google's gonna do what they're gonna do, but the four click thing may have clued 'em in - but don't worry about it. It ain't nothing but a thing. Google will do what they do and I'll learn the outcome soon enough.
And, yeah... We have all sorts of illegal hunting here - and we have REALLY stiff penalties. Our game laws are about as strict as those in Alaska. We take that shit seriously.
At the same time, I don't mind if an old dude hunts from his porch.
I know for a fact illegal hunting has happened on my property. So long as they're substance hunting, I really don't mind.
How to describe it?
If I was a game warden and I caught you poaching, I'd make you take me to your house. I'd make you let me in your house.
Then, I'd look in your freezer and in your cupboards.
If I determined you were hunting because you legitimately needed the food, I wouldn't arrest you - or write a ticket or anything like that.
There's a little known law that lets you (or at least some people) subsistence hunt on (some) federal property. You can take a couple of caribou - or more - if you're indigenous Alaskan hunting on federal property and there are a few rules around this that I don't actually know 'cause I'm not one of those people and haven't learned. I just did some searching online to confirm what I already understood when watching one of those Alaskan Bush People kinda shows.
About the same for if a guy gets caught stealing a loaf of bread from a grocery store and they go to their house and find no food and hungry kids, they probably dont need to be arrested either
Yeah. While I don't condone theft - nor stealing from the commons (which is what poaching is) - I can understand that hunger motivates people to do what they need to do.
Back in college, and I was never caught, I shoplifted (stole, in brutal terms) food. I probably wouldn't have technically starved without it, but I'd have gone hungry without it. I don't regret it. I don't regret it even in the slightest.
But, I do feel obligated. If I could recall whom and what, as well as where and when, and those companies existed today, I'd send 'em a check for a thousand dollars each. Alas, I don't think any of those stores even exist today.
They would probably be confused to receive your check
