Even then, I bet they don't say a word. Even if they do, it's a small fine. I'll pay that shit on the spot, turn around, and drive right the fuck back on the same goddamned trail.
Give me any lip and I'll drive on it in a way to cause as many ruts as I possibly can - and I've got tall tires that would make some pretty sweet ruts!
Maybe...
I'd probably just giggle a little and pay the fine. I probably wouldn't antagonize 'em.
But, the odds of getting a fine are really low.
Now, if I'd been out there digging ruts and wrecking the joint, they'd be more likely to give me a fine.
That truck with the torque could make some awful bug ruts
Yes, yes I could. I can also drive in a gentle manner that causes no real harm other than maybe some contribution to other bad sections.
The trails are much smoother in the snow than they are in the rest of the season. They're full of things that get frozen and covered. Right now, it's still warm enough to leave ruts.
Speaking of which, other than in the woods and where some small snow piles were, we are out of snow. We're not officially out of snow, but it's very limited - even at my elevation.
You must have got some of that warm 40 degree weather we had last week. It is really foggy today but there is still no snow on the ground.
The other night me and my woman went and visited Verle for a couple hours and on the way home there was a puckup truck in front of us quite a ways and they turned left directly into a light pole on the side of the road, in the middle of a block, there was no where to turn to there as it was. So my son who was giving us a ride went around the block a couple times to get a good look and there was a guy who got out of the truck looking at his front end, the first time, then when we went by again he jumped in and put it in reverse and was flooring it and not getting anywhere at all. Figured the cops would be there soon so we just continued on our way home LoL
